Arches National Park in Utah

We don't know how this rock was still balanced up there.

Greg and I stopped off on our way home from AZ to visit the Arches and it was really cool. You should all try and go someday!

Ghiluli Blown Glass Art Exhibit in Scottsdale, AZ. at the Botantical Gardens

We visited the Ghiluli (not sure about spelling for artist) blown glass exhibit at the Botantical Gardens in Scottsdale with Matt, Amy and Stratton this spring and it was AMAZING! The glass was mixed in with the cactus and desert flowers and as it got dark the lights came on and they were illuminated beautifully.

Christmas Holiday

We went down to the wharf and bought Flounder and Shrimp. Best fish tacos I've ever had. Amy made an amazing salsa and guacamole to top it off!

Winter Comes to Idaho

I spent two weeks with Denise's family and had grandma camp with kayla and jason. we made a photo album of all the fun things we did from bowling and eating breakfast at Big Boy's to I-Max and spash pool fun. little Connor is a very good baby and what a blessing he is to our family.

Idaho Winds last May, drops giant pine tree

I was sitting minding my own business when I heard this sound like thunder and there was a storm coming because it was blowing outside so i just thought, that sounds like thunder. about 5 minutes later liz comes in and says, "Have you looked outside??!! Our tree fell over!!!" We couldn't believe it had missed our sign and trees out front (behind it) and the power lines. couldn't have dropped in a better place, except we couldn't get in or out of the driveway. Someone up above was watching out for us. Greg wasn't home from arizona yet but some really great friends and neighbors brought their saws and trucks and had it out of our yard in one afternoon.

Addie's birthday party

Addie turned 2 on April 30 and Col and Aubrey had a party for her at the train park. You can see the train cake Aubrey made in these pictures.

Shopping!

Out at the pool

Andy and Lizzie have been here visiting this past week, and Andy's fiancee Lauren surprised him by coming from California for the week. They've been enjoying the nice Arizona weather out at the pool every single day!

Playing in the Tube

I bought this tube at Ikea when Denise's kids were in town and they loved it! Now it's Addie and Stratton's turn to have some tube time!

Trip to Tucson

Greg and I went with Aubrey and Adeline to Tucson a couple of weeks ago to visit Neil and Erica Asper's family. While we were there, we went to an old west town that used to be a movie set.




We also visited St. Xavier Mission. It was under renovation, but was still impressive. It was really fun to see Neil and Erica and their kids. We had a great time!

Sievers Gallery on main street opened on july 1 2007. it's hard to see any paintings because i took this in the middle of the day and all you can see are parked cars in the windows so this may look like a used car lot but it's really an art gallery!
